Capetown Kids

The kids live in the Capetown townships. They let me hangout with them while they played football (soccer). The townships hold about a million people. The unemployment rate is 80% and the murder rate is about 3 people a day.

Taken with a Hasselblad 500cm, 50mm lens. Kodak Portra VC 160 asa 120mm film. f22 at 1/500 of a second. Lighting is from a Profoto portable strobe pack with a large softbox on the head.
